What is the treatment?
High intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is the latest clinically proven technology for face lifting and the improvement in the appearance of lines and wrinkles in just one session. It targets individually brow lifting, jowl line lifting, nasolabial fold reduction, Periorbital wrinkle reduction and overall skin tightening and rejuvenation. The highly focused energy creates thermal coagulation at 3 different depths within the skin which leads to a wound healing response, this results in the new formulation of collagen and elastin providing a longer term tightening and lifting effect of the skin.
Is HIFU surgery?
No, HIFU is a non-surgical treatment and does not cut or damage the surface of the skin.

Who is a good candidate for HIFU?
A good candidate for HIFU is someone with skin that has begun to relax and is looking, and feeling less firm and tired, typically those who have mild to moderate skin laxity. Duration of the treatment
A full face and neck treatment can take approximately 90 minutes, while an individual treatment will take around 45 minutes ygacgnt.
Downtime
There is no downtime after the treatment, you can return to your normal activities right away.
What do I expect to feel during the treatment?
HIFU is not an uncomfortable treatment. You will feel tiny amounts of concentrated ultrasound energy being delivered into the skin. Depending on how sensitive your skin is there can be slight discomfort (slight tingling or warming sensation) in certain areas but it is short lived and a good sign that the collagen restructuring process has begun.
Results
You may see some initial effect however the lifting and firming process can take place over a period of 2-3 months. This isn’t to say that you will not see any difference until then, as the results happen gradually.
